Fruit tree fertilizer

November 28, 2011

I fertilize my fruit trees with the following mixture according to my fruit tree fertilization schedule.

2 cups k-mag (0-0-22)
8 cups cottonseed meal (3-0-0)
1/4 cup copper sulfate
1 cup rock phosphate
1/4 cup sulfur
1/2 cup zinc sulfate
1/4 cup magnesium sulfate
1 cup dry molasses
I sprinkle this mixture around the trees and wet it down with a spray of compost tea with one half ounce of  mycorrhizal fungi (mycogrow soluble from Fungi Perfecti) per five gallons. Humates can be worked in the soil.
